Custom T-shirt Printing

We’ve been kept super busy again this week in the studio with a tonne of interesting orders and designs – at least a handful of which have been for some really great organisations and brands that offer support, opportunities and tuition for women. Here’s a look at a few of our favourite feminist designs we’ve printed recently…

Girls To The Front Clothing

First up we have the fantastic Girls To The Front Clothing – we’ve printed a few runs of merch for these guys, and this week we set them up with a re-stock of one of their ace designs. Check em out below:

These garments are AWDis Kid’s Sweatshirts featuring a super simple single colour design of the ‘Girls To The Front’ Kathleen Hanna slogan. This merch speaks for itself really – black and gold are a timeless, classic combination, and the single colour design used here makes it a very cost effective run of merch. Sometimes simple really is best.

Girls To The Front Clothing are determined to remind us what Kathleen Hanna taught us. Go check them out via their Etsy store here and buy all the things!

National Coding Week

Next up, we printed a whole load of super cool t-shirts and tote bags for the fantastic Django Girls and Rails Girls. They will be running free coding workshops for women as part of their upcoming National Coding Week events in Manchester, so we set them up with all of these goodies:

Custom T-shirt PrintingThese ‘I <Code> Like A Girl’ tees are Bella + Canvas Tri-blend T-shirts, featuring a simple, single colour design on the front and back. Selecting a variety of coloured garments is a good way to inject some variation into more simple designs.

Custom T-shirt PrintingThese garments are also Bella + Canvas Tri-blend T-shirts, featuring the National Coding Week logo screen printed in white ink on the left chest.

The Django Girls are a fantastic, non profit, global organisation that provide free programming workshops for women. You can follow them via their Facebook page here for all info on their upcoming National Coding Week Events.

Rails Girls are another great non profit organisation, providing opportunities for women to build their ideas using technology. Rails Girls started out in Finland but have now gone global! Check them out here for all info on their workshops and events.

Girls Rock School Edinburgh

Our good friends over at Girls Rock School Edinburgh were in need of some new tees for their tutors and roadies for their upcoming Autumn term, so we printed a whole bunch – featuring their brand new design! Check them out below:

Custom T-shirt PrintingThe garments featured here are Gildan Heavy Cotton T-shirts which are a really popular choice for merch across the board. These t-shirts are a great example of how effective it can be to keep things simple. Sticking to monochrome colours makes these tees look bold and sophisticated.

Girls Rock School Edinburgh are an ace organisation who are committed to providing free group music tuition for women (age 18+). Check them out here via their Facebook group here for info on their upcoming term dates, and how to get involved with their upcoming events and gigs!

SQIFF

The annual Scottish Queer International Film Festival is back in Glasgow for another year, so we set them up with a run of their logo t-shirts and vests for this years events staff and volunteers – look!

Custom T-shirt PrintingThese t-shirts are the Anvil Basic Tees in Neon Blue and Neon Pink, and the tanks are the Bella + Canvas Unisex Tanks in Neon Blue. Both garments feature a two colour screen print of the SQUIFF logo on the front, as well as a single colour print of the URL on the back. Again, incorporating a selection of bright garment colours can help make your design more interesting and eye-catching. The neon coloured t-shirts and tanks really make the black and white inks pop out here!

Scottish Queer International Film Festival is a non profit organisation, putting on an annual LGBTIQ+ film festival in Scotland. The 2017 SQUIFF programme looks super exciting (as always!). Go have a look: Scottish Queer International Film Festival
